EYEBROW TRANSPLANTATION

Eyebrows play a quite important role in the facial expression. When eyebrows become thinner or lost partially, the facial expression of a person changes.

Eyebrow transplantation is the process of transferring the hair follicles, collected from the area between the two ears, into the areas where the eyebrows become thinner or lost partially, as in hair transplantation.

The process starts with the consultee determining on the desired eyebrow shape in consultation with the doctor. The application lasts for around 3 hours, and it is allowed to wash approximately 24 hours after the application.

Slight scabbing and redness are observes in the Eyebrow Transplantation area for four days. The transplantation area recovers four to five days later. The eyebrows, which have been transplanted, grow completely in three to six months. Following this six-month period, the development phase is assessed, and it is aimed to achieve the intended result in the second session, if so necessary.

Eyebrow transplantation is planned in 2 sessions because the angles, created in hair plantation, are not possible in eyebrow transplantation. This is why eyebrow transplantation does not yield the same dense results as the case with the hair transplantation. Because single and double hair follicles are preferred to create a natural look. It can be planned in 2 sessions to achieve the intended aesthetical result.

Eyebrows, which have been transplanted, grow fast in the first 1 year since they grow like hair. We recommend you to trim them using an eyebrow scissors. Transplanted eyebrows return back to their old growing discipline 2 years later.
